This 70's inspired ottoman is covered in a duo of Poodle and Blonde fabric. Underneath the layers of loveliness, you will find a bespoke wooden box, made to order by a local, reputable carpenter. Over this are layers of materials to create a soft and symmetric shape. The patterns on the lid have been cleverly joined using the Van Dykemethod, the joins hidden by pleats and matching buttons. The piping on the lid, also matches the pattern of the fabric above and below, to add that extra little detail. The ‘stay’ is also handmade to match the inside fabric, held in place by brass rings. Under the box are four solid brass castors in a shallow square casing, agin in keeping with the colours and shape of this truly unique piece.
